Dance Studio

Aubrie Morrison - Assistant Director / Dance Instructor
Aubrie has loved dance from a very young age (she began dancing at the age of 2!) and is fortunate to have carried that love with her throughout her life. Dedicated to dance and theatre education, Aubrie shares with her students a lifelong passion for the performing arts. Over the years, she has received training in various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and creative movement. Since she was a child, Aubrie has danced under the direction of studio owner Teri Nobbs. A student turned teacher, Aubrie has been teaching for Teri for nine years. Aubrie has a BFA from Youngstown State University, where she studied Dance Management and Marketing Communications, with a minor in Psychology focused on child development. While attending YSU, Aubrie was a member of the YSU Dance Ensemble.
Beyond her academic training, Aubrie was a member of Reverie Movement Collective, a Youngstown-based adult dance company, and has performed as a featured dancer in community theatre productions. She has also choreographed for show choir and community theatre, with her favorite production being Grease with The Millennial Theatre Company, for which she was nominated for Best Choreography Award.
Combining her love of movement with storytelling, in addition to dance, Aubrie has a strong background in theatre education. She has directed multiple children’s shows and taught many musical theatre classes. From toddlers to adults, Aubrie enjoys working with students of all ages bringing enthusiasm, creativity, and encouragement into every class. Her goal is to instill self-confidence, resilience, joy, and a lifelong love for the performing arts in her students, teaching them skills that will reach far beyond the studio. All while nurturing love for the arts in the next generation of dancers!

Chloe Miller - Baton / Dance Instructor
As a part of Columbiana Performing Arts Centre, Chloe looks forward to teaching the sport of baton to the next generation of twirlers. Chloe started competitive twirling and dance at the age of 5.
Baton twirling gave her many opportunities to travel around the country, as well as the world going to many competitions. She won many state, national and world titles, which include Miss Majorette of Ohio, Miss Majorette of the Great Lakes, Miss Majorette of America, and Grand National Twirling Champion.
She qualified for the United States Twirling Team three times, when she traveled to Holland, Belgium and Switzerland and won multiple silver and bronze medals. A native of Niles, Chloe was the feature twirler at her high school, as well as the University of Kentucky. Chloe, also has extensive training and performance teaching Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop and is part of our Columbiana Competition teaching staff.

Gabriella Harley - Dance Instructor
Gabriella fell in love with dance at the age of 4. Ever since her first class she knew she wanted to be a Dance Teacher! Gabriella has been dancing for 20 years and teaching for 4. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. While at IUP Gabriella was a memebers of the Cheerleading Team, Drill Team, and the Dance Theater company. She served on the Arts Department student board for 2 years and achieved the Patricia Lommock Dance Scholarship. She Performed with the Shanna Simmons Dance Company in 2021. After graduating Gabriella began her teaching career in Pittsburgh, PA. She specializes in Tumble, Combo, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Pom, and Adult Heel Classes. In her free time, she choreographs for High-school and College Cheerleading Teams! Gabriella enjoys being a role model for young dancers, teaching them to love the art of movement and expression. Creating a fun and positive learning environment is her number one goal! She is thrilled to start her first year with Columbiana Performing Arts Center!

Emelia Sherin - Dance Instructor
Emelia earned her degree in Public Relations with minors in Dance Studies and Theatre Management at Kent State University. She also trained at the Toronto School of Circus Arts. Her professional credits include performing with Disney Cruise Lines, Twilight Theatre, Cleveland Ballet, Four Corners Musical Theatre Company, Attack Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, Akron Civic Theatre, Canton Players Guild, among others. As an arts educator and advocate, Emelia serves as a teaching artist for the Ohio Thespians chapter of the Educational Theatre Association, Cleveland Ballet, Weathervane Playhouse, Heather McGaughey Four Corners Theatre Academy, and more. Emelia is a certified Intimacy Coordinator and the creator of Lights On, a sexual violence and misconduct prevention program for youth and adults in arts communities across the nation. Emelia prioritizes inclusivity, safety, and confidence when working with students of all ages!

Jordan DeSantis - Guest Dance Instructor
Jordan DeSantis started dancing when she was three and hasn’t stopped performing since. She graduated from AMDA College of the Performing Arts in February with her BFA in Performing Art, with a focus in Musical Theater. Before attending AMDA Jordan performed in her high school’s production of The Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch. At AMDA, she portrayed Dot from Sunday in the Park With George. Jordan has done student film work and was a competing dancer on the Lifetime show, Dance Moms. She is excited to be teaching at the Columbiana Performing Arts Center and to be doing what she loves. She can’t wait to see where her journey takes her and hopefully a fluffy golden companion will be joining her soon.

Vince Sylvester - Guest Dance Teacher
Vincent has been employed as a principal dancer for Norwegian Cruise Lines and entertainment with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines sailing Bermuda and Southeast Asia. Global Entertainment at all four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Toured as a principal dancer with Sesame Street live throughout the U.S.
In Las Vegas, Mr. Sylvester acquired experience instructing dance workshops and classes with children and adults of all ages. He has also traveled and judged with numerous competitions being exposed to many styles of dance with Elite Studios across the nation. Vincent travels to studios across the U.S. Teaching Master Classes and setting choreography pieces on dancers of all ages. Mr. Sylvester has lead master classes and meet and greets with Jojo Siwa and Sarah Georgiana from Lifetimes television show “Dance Moms.”
Vincent is so grateful and excited to bring all of his creativity and passion back to the area. He was the former owner / artistic director of Formations Dance Company in Pennsylvania. He is now blessed to have the opportunity to bring his expertise and flare to all dancers.
Music Studio

Kathryn Stanton - Music /Voice Instructor
Kathryn Stanton started performing on stage as a dancer at age 4. That blossomed into musical theater and opera and brought her to teaching. She holds a bachelors degree in music with an emphasis in voice from Youngstown State University. Originally from Burgettstown, PA, Kathryn graduated from The Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA in 2008, and performed in many productions with Pittsburgh Musical Theater, including Annie (Grace Farrell), West Side Story (Nibbles), Titanic (Kate Murphy), and The Civil War (Chorus) which featured Tony Award-winner Billy Porter.
At YSU, she performed in scenes from Carmen (Carmen), The Marriage of Figaro (Marcellina), Cendrillon (Madame de la Haltière), and Gianni Schicchi (Zita), as well as a production of Cosi fan Tutte (Dorabella). Along with Columbiana PAC, Kathryn teaches choir, piano, and general music at Chaney High School in Youngstown.

Dylan Mays – Guitar Teacher
Dylan Mays is a distinguished guitarist and educator who graduated from the Berklee School of Music in 2010. With 14 years of teaching experience, Dylan has honed his skills in both performance and pedagogy, providing top-notch guitar instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. His comprehensive teaching approach combines technical proficiency with a deep understanding of music theory and a passion for various musical genres. Dylan’s dedication to his craft and his students has established him as a sought-after teacher, inspiring countless musicians to achieve their full potential.
Acting Studio

Brooke Nobbs - Acting Teacher
Brooke Nobbs is an accomplished performer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from The Youngstown State University department of Theatre and Dance. She specializes in stage, film, and voice acting and has done many local shows and short films. Her passion for acting and performance started at a very young age and has been carried with her throughout the years into her young adulthood (and no doubt, beyond). After living in Los Angeles, CA briefly - she has moved back to Ohio to pursue other creative endeavours. Brooke has a strong belief that acting not only brings individuals out of their shell, but also has a huge impact on the world.
Art Studio

Adam Pratt - Art Instructor
Professional artist, Adam Pratt, is the owner of Youngstown Cycle and Speed in Boardman, Ohio. Adam has an associates degree in Visual Communications from The International Academy of Design and Technology. He resides in Columbiana, Ohio with his fiance, Brianna, daughters Isabella and Lyddie, Chow, Nala, and two cats Vinny and Kitty. Adam enjoys custom paintwork, pinstriping, and airbrushing. He is a hot rod, motorcycle, and Jeep enthusiast who spends his free time customizing his classic cars.
