Teri Nobbs - Owner / Director / Dance Teacher
Teri has had the privilege of dancing and teaching dance as a career for more than 40 - 45 years. Prior to being the dance director of Columbiana PAC, Teri owned The Stage Door Performing Arts Center in Poland and owned and operated her first studio, Teri’s Dance & Baton Center. During her career as an instructor, she trained under Mr. Rennie Davis of Youngstown, and many other renowned choreographers, from the late Gregory Hines, to many throughout New York City, Chicago, West Palm Beach, Cincinnati, Boston and L.A. She has attended and completed her training to teach dance in Ballet, tap, jazz, through the Dance Masters of America Organization. Teri has also continued her education for lyrical, hip hop, tumbling, modern, and contemporary through extended workshops, clinics, master classes, and seminars. Teri has taught for the Ohio Department of Education at the Chaney High school for their performing arts department , along with teaching many master classes over the years and has implemented dance programs for studios in Las Vegas, Florida, Kentucky, and Nebraska. As an educator, Teri has had the opportunity to teach hundreds of dancers in workshops, clinics, performing arts schools, dance lines, show choirs, pre-schools, and theatre productions. Her studios have served as a supportive and encouraging training ground for many past and up and coming aspiring dancers.
Aubrie Morrison - Assistant Director / Dance Instructor
Aubrie has loved dance from a very young age and she is fortunate to have carried that love with her throughout her life. Over the years, she has received training in various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and creative movement. Aubrie has a BFA from Youngstown State University where she studied Dance Management and Marketing Communications. In addition to teaching, Aubrie also enjoys choreographing for community theatre. She always looks forward to sharing her love and passion for the arts with her students. Aubrie is excited to spend another year doing what she loves with her Columbiana PAC family!
Chloe Miller - Baton / Dance Instructor
As a part of Columbiana Performing Arts Centre, Chloe looks forward to teaching the sport of baton to the next generation of twirlers. Chloe started competitive twirling and dance at the age of 5.
Baton twirling gave her many opportunities to travel around the country, as well as the world going to many competitions. She won many state, national and world titles, which include Miss Majorette of Ohio, Miss Majorette of the Great Lakes, Miss Majorette of America, and Grand National Twirling Champion.
She qualified for the United States Twirling Team three times, when she traveled to Holland, Belgium and Switzerland and won multiple silver and bronze medals. A native of Niles, Chloe was the feature twirler at her high school, as well as the University of Kentucky. Chloe, also has extensive training and performance teaching Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop and is part of our Columbiana Competition teaching staff.
Makenna Liller Dahman - Dance Instructor
Makenna is a teacher, dancer and choreographer who currently resides in Youngstown. Makenna has been dancing since the age of 4 and it has been the biggest part of her life ever since. Growing up Makenna competed in dance competitions around the country and after graduating high school she joined the company at Millennium Dance Complex in Pittsburgh where she performed and competed in World of Dance in Chicago and Los Angeles. After 2 years with the company, she decided to take her training and craft to the next level and move to Seattle, WA where she was a member of multiple companies and choreographed for shows in the Seattle area. Makenna has trained with choreographers such as Hannah Wintrode, Justin Giles, Erica Sobol, Daniel Cruz, Isaac Tualaulelei and many more. In 2023, she launched her business Reverie Movement Collective - Youngstown's premiere adult dance and wellness company. In addition to being a dance teacher and choreographer, Makenna is also a certified health coach and a teaching artist at SMARTS in Youngstown. In her spare time she loves to read, be in nature and spend time with her husband, Paul and kitten, Flynn. Makenna is so excited to be a part of the CPAC team and is so excited to bring her ideas and experience to all of the wonderful students here!
​Gabriella Harley - Dance Instructor
​Gabriella fell in love with dance at the age of 4. Ever since her first class she knew she wanted to be a Dance Teacher! Gabriella has been dancing for 20 years and teaching for 4. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. While at IUP Gabriella was a memebers of the Cheerleading Team, Drill Team, and the Dance Theater company. She served on the Arts Department student board for 2 years and achieved the Patricia Lommock Dance Scholarship. She Performed with the Shanna Simmons Dance Company in 2021. After graduating Gabriella began her teaching career in Pittsburgh, PA. She specializes in Combo, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Pom, and Adult Heel Classes. In her free time, she choreographs for High-school Cheerleading Teams! Gabriella enjoys being a role model for young dancers, teaching them to love the art of movement and expression. Creating a fun and positive learning environment is her number one goal! She is thrilled to start her first year with Columbiana Performing Arts Center!
Jordan DeSantis - Guest Dance Instructor
Jordan DeSantis started dancing when she was three and hasn’t stopped performing since. She graduated from AMDA College of the Performing Arts in February with her BFA in Performing Art, with a focus in Musical Theater. Before attending AMDA Jordan performed in her high school’s production of The Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch. At AMDA, she portrayed Dot from Sunday in the Park With George. Jordan has done student film work and was a competing dancer on the Lifetime show, Dance Moms. She is excited to be teaching at the Columbiana Performing Arts Center and to be doing what she loves. She can’t wait to see where her journey takes her and hopefully a fluffy golden companion will be joining her soon.
Vince Sylvester - Guest Dance Teacher
Vincent has been employed as a principal dancer for Norwegian Cruise Lines and entertainment with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines sailing Bermuda and Southeast Asia. Global Entertainment at all four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Toured as a principal dancer with Sesame Street live throughout the U.S.
In Las Vegas, Mr. Sylvester acquired experience instructing dance workshops and classes with children and adults of all ages. He has also traveled and judged with numerous competitions being exposed to many styles of dance with Elite Studios across the nation. Vincent travels to studios across the U.S. Teaching Master Classes and setting choreography pieces on dancers of all ages. Mr. Sylvester has lead master classes and meet and greets with Jojo Siwa and Sarah Georgiana from Lifetimes television show “Dance Moms.”
Vincent is so grateful and excited to bring all of his creativity and passion back to the area. He was the former owner / artistic director of Formations Dance Company in Pennsylvania. He is now blessed to have the opportunity to bring his expertise and flare to all dancers.
Kathryn Stanton - Music /Voice Instructor
Kathryn Stanton started performing on stage as a dancer at age 4. That blossomed into musical theater and opera and brought her to teaching. She holds a bachelors degree in music with an emphasis in voice from Youngstown State University. Originally from Burgettstown, PA, Kathryn graduated from The Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA in 2008, and performed in many productions with Pittsburgh Musical Theater, including Annie (Grace Farrell), West Side Story (Nibbles), Titanic (Kate Murphy), and The Civil War (Chorus) which featured Tony Award-winner Billy Porter.
At YSU, she performed in scenes from Carmen (Carmen), The Marriage of Figaro (Marcellina), Cendrillon (Madame de la Haltière), and Gianni Schicchi (Zita), as well as a production of Cosi fan Tutte (Dorabella). Along with Columbiana PAC, Kathryn teaches choir, piano, and general music at Chaney High School in Youngstown.
Stephen Pappas – Base Guitar/Electric Guitar Teacher
Stephen Pappas is an up and coming independent recording artist who is gaining international attention. He is currently leading the band Centre Piece as singer, song writer, and executive producer. When not performing, Stephen also works as an artist consultant and producer/liaison for Mind Rocket Recording Studio owned by Josh Roman. Stephen‘s experience within the music industry has made him a valuable teacher with numerous contacts. Stephen began his journey as a guitarist having spent many years recording songs and working in studios. He then decided to write, produce and publish his own music including his album called “Lullaby”. Stephen currently has two published releases available through Sentric Music (U.K.). One full length album and the bands’ new single called Scars are available on Spotify and Apple Music. Stephen studied vocal science for three years under the mentorship of singer Daniel Tompkins from the U.K. band TesseracT. He previously studied guitar under his father Steve Pappas, an Ohio-based finger style guitarist, composer, and teacher.
Dylan Mays – Guitar Teacher
Dylan Mays is a distinguished guitarist and educator who graduated from the Berklee School of Music in 2010. With 14 years of teaching experience, Dylan has honed his skills in both performance and pedagogy, providing top-notch guitar instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. His comprehensive teaching approach combines technical proficiency with a deep understanding of music theory and a passion for various musical genres. Dylan’s dedication to his craft and his students has established him as a sought-after teacher, inspiring countless musicians to achieve their full potential.
Stacy Anderson - Director/Drama/Music Teacher
Stacy has been guiding young performers of all ages for over 30 years through her work as an Acting Teacher, Vocal Coach, and various Directorial positions. Her experience and love of the arts, both on and off the stage, brings the best out in students, giving them confidence that extends well beyond what they learn in class. She encourages her students to follow their dreams; some of her previous students have been accepted into prestigious universities and conservatories of Music, Musical Theatre, and Opera, and have gone on to careers in the industry as stage managers, musicians, actors, and more.
Stacy has been seen on stages from Cleveland to Pittsburgh in productions such as, A Chorus Line (Cassie), The Apple Tree (Eve), Oklahoma! (Ado Annie), The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Pippi), Big Fish, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, A Christmas Story: The Musical (Miss Shields), Godspell, and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Behind the scenes, Stacy has directed youth theatre programs, summer camps, plays, musicals and special events for community theaters, high schools, middle schools, performing arts centers, and non-profit groups. Some favorite shows she directed include: Little Women, Elf, Jr., Freckleface Strawberry, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Suesspeare's Romeo and Juliet - Restaurant Wars, Coming of Age and Children of Eden.
Stacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Language Arts Education from Ohio University, as well as certifications of Business and Education from Kindermusik University. She is a professionally trained flutist, and experienced musician, singer and actor. She is excited to join the Columbiana Performing Arts Center and share her enthusiasm with the community.
Adam Pratt - Art Instructor
Professional artist, Adam Pratt, is the owner of Youngstown Cycle and Speed in Boardman, Ohio. Adam has an associates degree in Visual Communications from The International Academy of Design and Technology. He resides in Columbiana, Ohio with his fiance, Brianna, daughters Isabella and Lyddie, Chow, Nala, and two cats Vinny and Kitty. Adam enjoys custom paintwork, pinstriping, and airbrushing. He is a hot rod, motorcycle, and Jeep enthusiast who spends his free time customizing his classic cars.
Ashley Hutmacher - Art Instructor
Ashley is a graduate from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. She has knowledge of printmaking, painting, sculpture, drawing, and darkroom photography. In recent years she has taught arts/crafts to preschool age children. Ashley currently works for KIKO Company as an advertising coordinator and lives in Lisbon, OH with her husband, Adam, and their 3 children, Adelyn, Aldon, and Aiden.
